Welcome to Strive Dance Studios

Strive Dance Studios, located in the recreation center at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, is the premier destination in Buckhead for dancers aged 3-18. We provide both recreational and competitive dance programs. Our recreational dancers have the opportunity to perform in our annual recital, while our competitive dancers can advance their training and compete at the highest levels in a full competition season.

Leigh Ducas

Leigh Ducas is the Founder of Strive Dance Studios, an Atlanta-based dance artist and educator with a passion for cultivating both technical excellence and artistic expression in her students. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Georgia and earned her K–12 Dance Education Certification. A native of Louisville, KY, Leigh has trained extensively in a variety of styles. She studied under renowned instructors at the JoAnn Fryrear School of Dance, Youth Performing Arts School, Louisville Ballet, Joffrey Ballet School, Radio City Rockettes, and the Voronezh Ballet.

Her teaching experience spans both studio and school settings. Leigh has served as a dance instructor, competition team coordinator, and co-founder and Associate Director of Profectus Dance. In her professional career, she has had the additional honor of working and performing with Refuge Dance Company, Fly on a Wall, ADMIX Project, and Fall for Fall Dance Festival.

Leigh’s approach to teaching emphasizes strong technique, creativity, and confidence. She is dedicated to creating a positive and inspiring environment where dancers of all ages can grow, express themselves, and develop a lifelong love for the art of dance.

Britanie Leland

Britanie Leland is an Atlanta based artist and current company dancer with Monica Hogan Danceworks. Previously, she has worked with Staibdance, Emily Cargill and Dancers, Fly on A Wall, and Catellier Dance Projects as well as independent choreographers Jessica Bertram and Patsy Collins. She has also guested with The Nash Conspiracy (NY), Jellybean Dance Collective (AL), and Visionary Dance Theater (CA). Her work has been presented at Spring for Spring Dance Festival, Skwirlhaus, Local Motion Arts Festival, and Fieldwork with Core Dance. She was also a resident guest choreographer with Profectus Dance Company. She has a BFA in Dance Performance, and a minor in Business Administration from the University of South Florida and is Module 1 and 2 certified through Acrobatic Arts. She has been teaching and choreographing in the Southeast for more than 10 years and is excited to be part of the inaugural staff of Strive.
